The department of Physical Education of Sree Sankara College was establishes in 2018. Under the stewardship of Sri. Amal C. Bose, the department hosts variety of sports and games to give students a chance to show off their skills.

Amal C. Bose was served as best physique team selector, coach/ manager, Organizing Committee Member in Inter University Taekwondo Championship conducted by University of Kerala during 2019-2020, Manager of Kerala University Rugby Mens Team and Selector for Kerala University Intercollegiate Best Physique Championship during 2021-2022, Selector for Rugby team (Men and Women) and Selector for Karate Team (Men and Women) during 2022-2023, Selector for Best Physique and Karate team, University of Kerala and organizing member of Inter University Southzone Basketball Tournament during 2023-2024.
