Ragging means display of noisy, disorderly conduct, doing any act which causes or is likely to cause physical or psychological harm or raise apprehension or fear or shame or embarrassment to a student in any educational institution.
(i) Any behavior, whether expressed orally or in writing, that has the effect of making fun of, treating rudely, or teasing a new student or another student.
(ii) Engaging in disruptive or disorderly behavior that causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship, physical or psychological harm, or to incite fear or apprehension thereof in any new student or other student.
(iii) Asking a student to perform an act that they would not perform in a regular course and that would cause them to feel ashamed, tormented, or embarrassed in a way that would negatively impact their physical or mental health or the physical health of any other student.
(iv) Taking advantage of a new student's or any other student's assistance to finish assignments that have been given to a person or group of people.
(v) Any behavior on the part of a senior that hinders, interferes with, or disturbs a freshmen or other students' regular academic work.
(vi) Any physical abuse act, including all of its variations, such as sexual abuse, homosexual assaults, stripping, forcing lewd or obscene acts or gestures, causing bodily harm, or posing a risk to someone's health that requires attention.
(vii) Any act, with or without the intention of obtaining sadistic pleasure, that undermines the mental well-being and self-esteem of a freshman or any other student, or any act in which a student displays their dominance, power, or superiority over any other freshmen or student.
(viii) Any act of coercion to extract money from a junior student or an oppressive financial burden placed on them. The college has an active functional Anti Ragging Cell constituted with following members:

The complaints regarding ragging in the institution can be lodged with the Principal, Staffs or any members of Anti Ragging Cell. All information and complaints will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
