DEPARTMENT OF HINDI & MALAYALAM

Department of Hindi and Malayalam consist of two faculty members on contract basis. Students are free to choose either Hindi or Malayalam for their Additional Language Course. Four Additional Language Courses are included in the first four semesters of BA Economics and BSc Physics programmes, whereas only two Additional Language Courses are included in the first two semesters of BCom Tax Procedures and Practice 2(a) programme.

Under FYUGP, Department of Hindi offers 6 Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC), 1 Multi-Disciplinary Course (MDC), and 1 Skill Enhancement Course (SEC) in 4 semesters. Department of Malayalam also offers 6 Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC), 1 Multi-Disciplinary Course (MDC), and 1 Value Addition Course (VAC) in the four semesters of the FYUGP.
