Anti - Ragging Week Celebration


The Anti-Ragging Week celebration at Sree Sankara College took place from 12 August 2024 to 18 August 2024, with a series of events aimed at promoting a ragging-free campus. 

 
On 13 August 2024, the week was inaugurated by the College Principal, Dr. Remya P. D., followed by video presentations for the entire student body, highlighting the importance of maintaining a safe and respectful environment. 
 
On 14 August 2024, competitions were held, including essay writing and poster making, encouraging students to express their thoughts on the significance of preventing ragging. 
 
The highlight of the week was an Awareness Class conducted on 16 August 2024, led by Shri Ajayan Sir, Sub-Inspector, Nagaroor Police Station, where students received valuable insights into the legal and social consequences of ragging. 
 
The programme was coordinated by Amal C. Bose, Assistant Professor, Department of Physical Education, and Keerthi Krishna G., Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce.
